PSYCHO Analysis !!!

There is plenty going on outside in the garden now, but I cannot resist this study of our new psycho orchid! It is called "Psychopsis Kalihi" and it is CRAZY beautiful. So, naturally I had to go crazy with the camera too. I tried to control myself, but I couldn't stop. Some flowers need to be studied from ALL perspectives (... and I think I covered most of them)! Enjoy. 

Spring Montage

It's like Christmas! We have 3 Amaryllis in bloom. We planted them outside last year and left them dry in the dark over winter. So now it's Christmas in May: 

What is up with all those ants on Peonies ???!!! I need to google this.
