"Double double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldren bubble." (... only in this play they're just tomatoes!) Making caldrens of sauce we are. Lots of sauce. It's the best way to reduce the bushels to the size of pint jars. The aroma fills the house... mmmmmm. More red, white, and blue below. Enjoy!

Summer Flower Power ...and Produce Too

Around this time of year it sometimes feels like fall here, ...but just then come a few new flowers, and more veggies. These new arrivals fuel the lingering feel of summer days. There's a need to keep looking for this new late summer beauty. In MY case there's also a need to try to "capture" it with a camera. I hope to present at least one more set of summer images. Hope you find one you like!

It's Thyme

It is thyme growing in this pot. It also feels like it's that time of year that the garden starts to turn the corner towards the fall. A curious young deer allowed me to do an amazing up close photo shoot. The veggies continue to challenge us to "keep up". Mmmmmm, fresh sweet corn. Onions! Hot dilly beans. Way too many summer squash. Rain! Soon we will be swimming in tomatoes.
