Carrots are Tops.
It's simply "earthy" to harvest carrots. This year we pulled (...and dug) them earlier. Sometimes we wait too long thinking that they are getting bigger, but they sometimes end up bolting and getting tougher and woody. We did the right thing this time, and they look good. Here's the pictures:
