Warm summer sun days and the garden is very busy. Corn, squash, cukes, beans, chard, onions, tomatoes, herbs, peppers, and lots of sunflowers. It is good time. The average temperature is still summer, but we have now passed the peak, and are ticking down to more of that "fall feeling" in the coming weeks. The sunflowers have exploded, and are everywhere. Some came up naturally from seeds the birds had "planted" last year while they enjoyed their fall meals. Other areas were planted by us in spring. Enjoy the yellow!
